100% this. I work with my local public defenders and most people would be shocked at how sloppy and 'half baked' so many of the cases that come to us are. On one hand, that is to our advantage, we win a lot of cases. On the other hand though, it is deeply troubling that our law enforcement, /1

Wait, what? I had to look it up. Why are we allowing another sovereign state to build a military base on US soil? Does that strike anyone else as being.....not normal? What is the chain of command? Do they abide by US law while on US soil? Who do they answer to in the event of an incident?
