Will y’all please lock the door and set the alarm the MINUTE 2025 leaves tonight? Sure, it brought some sparkly moments but on balance, it was rude and messy and the neighbors complained. I hope 2026 behaves better.

We’ve had some great reporters roll through the #757, but few are braver than Sharyn Alfonsi of 60 Minutes (and WVEC 1995-1999).
Bari Weiss apparently spiked Sharyn Alfonsi’s 60 Minutes segment on CECOT for political reasons.
Here’s her email to the news staff.
Sharyn Alfonsi has more guts than every single beltway reporter.

Moments like this are revealing. Who in national leadership responds — and how — will matter. The people are watching.

I find this photo deeply inspiring. It’s an iconic image for this crucible moment.

Soo has been released after a well-executed pressure campaign. I remain bereft for the countless others wrongfully detained — those without influential networks, whose hope for justice rests on an eroding foundation of due process, and who long simply to be at home in this nation of immigrants.

Thank you for not using that name, @maxwellfrost.bsky.social. It trivializes and distances us from the cruelty being celebrated there.
I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

Delighted with the results of @Virginiadem primary. We had great candidates and now we work hard every day until 11/4.

@vademocrats.bsky.social had great candidates on today’s ballot. I’ll be proud to support the ticket in November.

This sounds like something that should be reported to the newly-announced White House Faith Office whose goal in part is to: “protect religious liberty".
BREAKING: Police just surrounded Rev. William Barber, prominent activist and pastor, as he and others prayed in the U.S. Capitol Rontunda.

Police then expelled everyone (including press!) from the Rotunda to (presumably) arrest them.

I've covered protests here a lot. Never seen anything like it.

“This was a purposeful decision by ICE to make me, Mahmoud, and our son suffer,” Dr. Abdalla said. “My son and I should not be navigating his first days on earth without Mahmoud."

My respect, admiration, and enthusiasm for LG candidate and State Sen. Aaron Rouse grows every day. We had a compelling discussion about the issues this morning The June 17 primary will determine the statewide ballot for the fall. I’m in it to win it for Rouse and I hope you will be, too.

#notnormal. I've always had mixed emotions about this event, but that they could even contemplate it in the current environment is a sign of just how co-opted they are. Fight on, @marcelias.bsky.social.22
The fact that the corporate legacy media is even having this event shows how little they understand the moment we are in and how little they intend to fight back.

Support fearlessly independent media.
