The US is now responsible for the governance of Venezuela. Toppling the regime of a smaller country is always the easy part. The hard part is what comes after. Neo-cons always expect a pro-US nirvana. It rarely works out. But I suppose the oil companies can seize some assets.

POST-CHRISTMAS PSA: Thank your Christmas hosts (who are most often women). It’s fun work we do quite lovingly & willingly, but it is work. How much? I looked at my step count prior to bedtime on Christmas Eve. It read over 14,000 steps (that’s 5 miles ) & I never even left the inside of my house. 😜

Michael Cohen is correct - Trump is leading us into war under a rationale that would justify the United Kingdom reclaiming the original 13 colonies. A war that may not limit itself to Venezuela, given that it disrupts shipping bound for China. Who voted for this?
