I found a baby common snapping turtle in the middle of my garage. 🥹
A tiny baby common snapping turtle resting in a thin layer of water, all lovingly held in a Rubbermaid container from my kitchen.

Miel in the window 🩶🤍🧡 #caturday #catsofbluesky
A close up of a pretty, pensive dilute calico cat looking out a window. The perspective is from just outside the window. A blue sky, trees, and a power line is reflected in the glass. Maybe Miel, the cat, is watching something.

Catbirds are still around. And it’s much easier to hear the mockingbird now that the migrating songbirds have cleared out. Woodpeckers, Carolina wrens, blue jays, nuthatches, cardinals, crows…they round out the rest of the remaining choir. I‘m forgetting someone but I’m sure they forgive me.

I just found a chunk of pyrite in my yard, and so did this wasp. Now we’re partners! #SmileAtBugs

I love baseball.

Would I marry baseball? Maybe, if they asked. ☺️

Harrison Bader is an Art Guy.

He's painted since he was kid, studied art history in HS, and goes to galleries in his free time.

He paints "a lot" of portraits during the offseason (and used to during the season, too).

The Phillies’ Harrison Bader has been painting since he was a kid. And it’s helped shape his game.
Bader took an interest in art history in high school and still paints. It’s helped him get through the highs and lows of his major league career, while keeping him in “the present moment.”

Does the number 529 mean anything? I woke up with it repeating in my head.

Rainy day means the distant train horn sounds closer - bouncing down from the heavy clouds, echoing across the river, up the cliffs, and over the low hill to me. 🤍

I enjoy the randomness of it, though. 🍻

Set aside £1 a day whenever possible, before you know it…

A. some unexpected expense will arise and you put it towards that
B. you get the boots in ~150 days
C. you hold off on the boots, continue to squirrel away £1/day when possible, and wind up with enough to [insert something fun here]
