There's no longer any question: it's time to compensate transit riders for what they're going through. These pictures are heartbreaking - people going to evening shifts, home and family, class.

At pop-up hours today, Ajay Ramachandran showed me the data visualizations he's been working on using GTFS data on bus delivery. Bus by bus, scheduling block by scheduling block, Better Transit Ottawa has built an incredible tool to dig deep into trip delivery and reliability.

3) Emergency bus lane and transit priority measures need to be enacted on key corridors to ensure our working buses are used as efficiently as possible. We can't have our limited bus fleet standing still in traffic.

I am beyond upset, YouTube has age restricted my video tonight for thinking it depicts real actual gambling. The video is on CloeverPit and contains no real gambling, but does contain a massive charity push for The Trevor Project. Last time this happened I almost quit YouTube

Speaking directly about Councillors Leiper and Troster, he said: "What is surprising is their unwillingness to prioritize community safety." You do not accuse fellow councillors of not caring about the safety of their communities. That crosses a line. It's unacceptable and merits an apology. 10/

Shoutout to the #TTC janitor who tried to tell me I was going into the wrong washroom at Finch West.

There's no gender neutral washroom at Finch West, therefore there is no "correct" washroom for me.

I just need to piss, man. Fuck off.

Been 4 min and now it's 14, so this does not seem to be a bug.

@helps.octranspo.com mind explaining why a train is 5 min late on a line that has already had its service quartered on weekends?
December 6, 2025 at 7:17 PM
@helps.octranspo.com Serious question: how is this acceptable?

This route is every THIRTY minutes. You cancelled two trips in a row. That is a NINETY minute gap.

I now have to walk 15 min in -15 along not-super-well-maintained sidewalks to get to the train instead of just... taking the 42.

🚍‼️ The new #TTC #RapidTO bus lanes on #Dufferin are great! Next, they should be:
-⬆️ extended north from Bloor to Eglinton
-🚌 paired w/ frequent & reliable service
-↔️ added to Finch, Lawrence, Jane & Steeles

Bill 60 means that we will not be able to add cycle tracks to Albert and Slater Street or extend the O’Connor bike lane to Wellington Street. It’s an absurd overreach by the Ford government that will make all road users less safe and waste millions. I hate it here.

Ottawa says new provincial bill likely kills at least 3 bike lane projects | CBC News
New provincial legislation prohibiting how municipalities can build bike lanes means three projects in Ottawa likely can't move forward and others will get more expensive, according to a city report.

The little things add up: broken sidewalks, unkempt weeds, the slow pace of snow removal. Austerity has a cost and a real impact on our quality of life.

We ask city staff to put together budgets, but they are working with scraps.

We can do so much better.

Yesterday morning, my mom was struck while on her way to work. She was okay, but, in true mom fashion, she instantly got out to check on the other person.

She was then killed on impact by another car.
