I know it wouldn't really make sense, but I often wish Twitch had a feature where I could opt to listen or not listen to the music a streamer is playing. Sometimes I wanna vibe in a stream to my own soundtrack, and not listen to what they (or their chat's song requests) are dishing out. 😮💨

Don't let anyone tell you that the results of your hard work are "lucky" (even a well-meaning family member).
It's healthy to acknowledge what fortune / blessings you do have, of course - but be thankful for where you got lucky, AND be both mindful and proud of what you worked for.

Pro tip if your heart is feeling jaded and numb: do something nice for someone, just because. It's one of the best feelings to know you have the power to positively impact someone's day just because you felt like it.

Pretty wild to me, considering that I pretty much only streamed a bit of January before resuming in July. So grateful for all the support over on Twitch. I'm not as active as I probably should be on Bluesky, but I'm so thankful people choose to spend their time with me anyway. 🥹

With that said, I actually think Nightreign is a step in an interesting direction. Not in terms of format, or Artificial Difficulty of Night, but in the addition of more versatile active skills (if across preset classes) to make combat and movement more engaging, and relics to deepen build variety.

My latest spicy take is that, *for me personally*, FromSoft is no longer the reigning champion of "Souls Like" combat design.
They established and popularized an excellent formula that I feel others have iterated on with improved flavor, depth, and entertainment value beyond the difficulty.

It's wild that people can grow endeared to former OF creators while STILL failing to see that *current* OF creators, sex workers, etc. can *also* have charming personalities, hobbies, and full lives outside of how they make money.

I genuinely think more would get done in most office settings if we had 5-6 hour work days. Most people are only truly productive like 3-4 hours of a typical 8 hour day anyway, and IMO most of the procrastination comes from coping with how long the work day is 😂
