What the markets think of Reeves's speech this morning #R4Today
Late to this but it's still fresh
Minority representation on TV causes outrage

From the new Private Eye, in shops now.
I looked up the nearest primary school to me, was interested by the results and then saw that they're only estimated numbers, not actual data
Am not in Oxford but London. Whenever it snows and drivers leave their cars at home the buses are brilliant. Faster journey times and fewer drivers saying to themselves 'Ooh I'll just cut in in front of this bus. I'm faster,' as car after car after car impedes progress
If F had managed to keep foot out of mouth, P could have said: "One might expect a touch more pride from the future master of so many chimneys, beetling portraits and an orangery no less. But alas, he persists in being quite tolerable company instead.” Unless she does actually want Esme for herself
P: “Freddie, allow me to present Miss Esme Mulligan — lately arrived in our quiet corner of Borsetshire, and already the talk of the village, though I assure you, only for the most flattering reasons."
F: "Didn't you say she was 'needy'?"
It has a #duvetknowitschristmas vibe. Maybe there could be some kind of tie-in…
These are hilarious. From a thing called 'Mundane Halloween' in Japan.
"Person who just bought toilet paper, only to find that there was none left in the supermarket restroom (based on a true story)"

'Better than another panto' 🙌 Don't retraumatise me 😆
I too noticed her perking up when the word 'heir' was mentioned #TheArchers
It certainly is 'random' which sadly is not anywhere near as entertaining as your description which just made me hoot (like Hooty herself) #TheArchers Why do we put ourselves through it?!?!?!?
True. Funnily enough I went through some papers the other day while having a clear-out and resentment about the way a certain publisher behaved was well and truly reactivated 😆 So it can go dormant but still be there. In that case, forgetting about it was v beneficial
When I was 17 I went to the Tate and lightly patted a metal sculpture which through some freak of physics reverberated at high volume through every gallery. I was mortified, luckily the curator (and other visitors) found my embarrassment cute and funny. 'Being normal' around art should be allowed
Interesting how people are going to museums to see where the heist happened and to be shouted at. This made me laugh today - from Edith Pritchett's 'New items at the Louvre gift shop' www.instagram.com/p/DQRwUbDiO3...
I'd forgotten all about this. I don't know if it's good or bad to 'move on' so quickly. Kind of handy if you want people to forget about some misdemeanour of your own. I am useless at bearing a grudge - not because I'm a 'nice person' I just forget the details #TheArchers
That bad or not, if significant work means you can't borrow the money, you can't buy the property. What alternatives to a standard residential mortgage can you line up? If you can get specialist finance in place tell agents that and ask to view properties before they go on websites
By 'serious' I mean structural issues, severe damp/mould, not weatherproof, no running water or heating, dangerous wiring, doors and windows aren't secure &c &c A building that you can't immediately live in is difficult to insure too so traditional lenders won't lend
For places that need serious work, you can't get a standard residential mortgage so a developer with access to a second charge mortgage or other source of funds is going to be viewed more favourably as a buyer by the vendor. Frustrating I know
Dum de dum de dum de dum / Ha ha - ha ha - haa haa. Pip. BUSTED Esme. Needy 😆 #TheArchers
On Halloween of all days we're due 6.66mm of rain #NumberOfTheBeast
She looks like a guide for a journey. Great picture #Halloween
Painting created by Margaret Rose c.1965, in the art therapy studio at Netherne hospital, Surrey, where she was compelled to live.
This is one of only three surviving works by her & no biographical information is currently known to us
I read the red as fire. I saw the design as little piles of sticks with symbolic flame above, with a flame-coloured dress just visible beneath. I really like the dead leaf on her wand from the dormant tree beside her, and the cat's body language. She looks like a guide for a journey. Great picture

I love the story of of how this young person got this shot.
Southwark council rules allow tenants to reclaim rent on unlicensed properties. Wonder whether Reeves will have to refund her tenants their £38k? (Source: FT)
I think she had too with occasional glorious outbursts a bit like a parrot, suddenly excited, in a cage. Perhaps the tone-down was in preparation for transition to new actor #TheArchers
