It should be obvious that the EU cannot share personal data with countries which does not guarantee due process to visiting EU citizens and which cannot be trusted to limit the use of the data to immigration enforcement.

If the US decides to stop visa-free entry, we should do the same.
🚨🚨Given current situation and with the sharply deteriorating situation in #trumpland, I think it is unwise, imprudent and just a very bad idea for the EU to go ahead with plans to grant #US border authorities unprecedented access to Europeans’ data. 🧵

What a wild thing it will be if the only person made to resign over the recent release of the Epstein Files is British PM Keir Starmer who isn't even in them. Meanwhile Donald Trump is all over them like a rash.

How did they redact abusers but not the victims? And they expect us to believe 40 nude photos went unnoticed?

That’s exactly why people think the DOJ did this on purpose, to shame these women for coming forward.

Thread:

Yesterday I saw a post calling out Nicki Minaj for allying with Trump. Rightly so. But then they went on to blame all of this on Amber Heard saying that she singlehandedly destroyed the #MeToo movement.
Amber Heard didn’t do that. Misogynistic men and women with internalized misogyny did.

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
