55 years ago Friday, "The Osmonds" -- a pop band featuring five brothers from Ogden, Utah -- began five weeks at No. 1 with their first charted single: "One Bad Apple." Young Donny Osmond would land a solo song at No. 1 later that year. My Further Review in today's Spokesman-Review.

Okay, after a long break, the search for answers to my ongoing medical issues resumes tomorrow. Tomorrow: A hematologist (blood doctor). Next week, it's my gastro doctor. Then I have a week off before I see both my endocrinologist (diabetes doctor) and my cardiologist the first week of March.

105 years ago today, the first feature film written by, directed by and starring Charlie Chaplin — "The Kid" — opened in theaters. Co-starring with him was a 7-year-old boy who'd later go on to TV fame. My Further Review in today's Spokesman-Review.
