They woke up one day and chose to cook.

3. Stop chasing trends

you have cool, original ideas. if everyone feeds on the same hype train, then nothing as taste. So yeah, how about working with a blank page? scary, but creative!

2. Making something takes time. Donโ€™t give up on this

I hear that you want to be competitive, in a saturated market where speed could give you value. But no, your value is not only there. If thatโ€™s the case, you already lost to the plagiarism machine

A good stew need to stew!

1. give importance to WHO made the pictures you use

donโ€™t use a picture when you donโ€™t know who made it. If itโ€™s not credited, a quick reverse-image-search is all it takes to credit it yself

It takes time but itโ€™s the cost of every good thing in life. Bonus: youโ€™ll discover more from this artist

now that AI has polluted internet, itโ€™s simpler to use AI refs without knowing it. I bet thereโ€™s at least one AI pic in your ref board rn.

To counter this, and not surrender to this brainrot and ecological sin, you need to:

first time using this tool^^ I struggle to do magic on greyscale pictures

either lines I want removed are still present, or I can strengthen the range but the result is aliased. cause lines to keep and lines to erase can be the same value

did i miss something?

good call!
Question, as i don't understand select-by-range well, how can it replace the lasso step?

Painstakingly trying to clean and reframe drawings from photos, on my phone
November 26, 2025 at 1:37 AM
Itโ€™s still a long sequence. Phone part is quick ~30s, but sending it to pc + Ps add a few more minutes.

not ideal

Last optional steps:
- Reposition parts of the drawing
- move black and white point to ease on the eyes
