thought there would be a neat muppet game announcement but that number did make me smile so, a solid showing I suppose

Arc Raiders is deserving of that award. Phenomenal multiplayer experience. Good for Embark

Saros looks sick and if that trailer is anything how Returnal plays, I’m sorry - I wasn’t aware of your game, I’ll go buy that right now

The berets on the Sandfall team does go hard tho

Lenny Kravitz isn't a bad casting - they could definitely have made him read those lines a couple extra times though

Also if we're going to have a "most anticipated" category I do wanna see the marketing account team responsible up on stage. I want more people accepting things at this

Is it not insane that the awards are simply listed in power point slides with no additional fanfare?

Honestly though I could live with Tomb Raider: Breath of the Wild

Having a show called "The Game Awards" and then rapid-firing the winners of three separate categories, with zero recognition to the people responsible for winning those categories, does absolutely nothing to give this medium the credibility it should have. What a joke

"Cool dick" as a line read in the opening minutes was definitely a choice

"really demoralizing stuff...I got my girl back in Speranza she's waiting for me" might be quote of the year

Crazy detail on these but saddened Sherma didn't make the cut

(only a few hours in but)
The strongest part of Arc Raiders is that, while there's minimal lore or overarching story, the actual moment to moment gameplay IS the story. I had three runs last night as a complete beginner but each run had it's own narrative arc (pun). Extremely captivating

Feels like the bad ending but it is an ending nonetheless. Great game

Early candidate "dumbest thing". More funny than anything but really but still

Would love to see the metric decrease in activity among those I'm following as we enter in to the 10AM timeframe that Hollow Knight Silksong releases. Happy release day to y'all

Think I need a palette cleanser game -- I've started but haven't had the desire to get back in to the big single players just yet (South of Midnight, Yakuza Like a Dragon, Doom Dark Ages) after E33. Playing a lot of REMATCH though.

Anybody got something for me that's new, short and sweet?

idk man I kinda want Clair Obscur Expedition 33 to have another blow up of people finally getting around to it after the hype died down just so we can get another burst of "holy shit this game absolutely bangs" posts in the feed

Happy New JID Release Day to all who celebrate.

It's me. I'm celebrating

The traditional work laptop, to me, is more of a 'modern' take on the old skipping stone. A rectangular disc that can be thrown across the body, like a Frisbee. Outdoors. Near water, if possible.

That’s crazy because if my wife said the “yall can” and I looked for ten minutes for that can, she would come home and find it within 10 seconds. That’s the true power of wives who can find things that may or may not exist
