Just heard about this today. Anyone with a working braincell could see that the project was one of the most asenine urbanistic projects of all time, but alas reality caught up to the Prince of Saudi Arabia.
Now he's trying to turn that project into an AI money sink. Of course.

Repeating that Peril is VERY cool. Amazing sense of scale and adventure, constantly switching tones.
My only real complaint is that on Normal and even Hard it can be a bit too easy. I'm no Quake god (Mazu's maps in QBJ3 obliterate me) but found Nightmare to be most comfortable for me here.

Today, I've been poking around Peril. Y'know how Quake Brutalist Jam 3 is the biggest Quake community project? Peril, mostly the work of one person, is even bigger.
