First of multiple Xbox 360 projects is here! Check it out.
It's the 20th anniversary of Xbox 360's arrival and today we're reliving the launch day experience by unboxing an original two-decade-old, untouched Xbox 360 Core System. And yes, you'll get to see the day one 'Blades' experience... on a CRT, of course: youtu.be/Bf3jMl1kwXY

Gigantic amount of Black Ops 7 copies under the shelves not including the ones actually on the shelves.

Here’s the first take on the A3D - we’re also planning a DF Retro Super Show Special on it going into some additional things. I also took a bunch of extra shots that didn’t end up being used in the article so I’ll post them here! Check out the review below on our new site!

This is some crushing news to wake up to. What an incredibly talented, kind person. Truly a legend. RIP
Saddened to hear that Rebecca Heineman has passed away. She was a true legend and all my interactions with her were insightful, fun and inspiring. A true one of a kind. RIP Burger Becky.

How curious. I finally opened up my launch 360 which red ringed in 2008. Inside I’ve found a bunch of capacitors that seem to have blown which seems separate to the usual red ring issue. Wonder what’s up with that?

New Valve hardware finally announced and I think it looks amazing. The new headset feels like it could possibly replace the Quest 3 - more powerful and no Facebook account needed. The GabeCube is just a gorgeous little box that seems reasonably powered.

Yeah, I recommend picking this up immediately. It's a fantastic take on Lumines and probably my favorite version since the PSP original. Gorgeous visuals, great music and sound and excellent VR.
Lumines Arise out now, $35.99 on Steam (10% off launch discount) buff.ly/EVvaMXv
$39.99 US PSN buff.ly/H7Ut3jc

My quick impressions: Enjoying it overall with the Tetris Effect flavor, challenge mode levels has interesting varied mechanics (one level only drops pieces on the music beat)

I think it’s no coincidence that the most successful Xbox console launched with a numbered Ridge Racer. Just saying.

As two popular launch titles, the gulf in quality and playability between Halo Combat Evolved on Xbox and Call of Duty 2 on 360 is so vast. Halo absolutely decimates COD2 in retrospect and it’s not even close in my book. COD2 has aged horribly - Halo remains a classic.

I still love this little thing for quick gaming sessions.

I believe this actually showed up on Xbox much like the, uh, bootleg versions of Wipeout that I covered lol
A banging soundtrack and chaotic racing with the bravest helicopter pilots willing to fly into tunnels to follow the race.

I just like CRTs, what can I say?

I'm convinced that Xbox today would be in a different place if Kinect had never become a thing. This was the point when things started to go off the rails.
For better or for worse, The Xbox Kinect was released 15 years ago today.

Working on an Unreal video - when using modern renderers, has anyone managed to achieve the current sky color? It’s always wrong compared to the original 3DFX renderer.

Hmm, my Hucard copy of PC Genjin 2 (Bonk's Revenge) is suddenly not working even with cleaning. Just garbage tiles on screen...that's concerning. Has anyone had any failures with PC Engine Hucards before?
