Transition taking a long time does not mean it is not livesaving or medically necessary. Dysphoria is a debilitating condition that interferes with living any semblance of a normal day-to-day life, and deserves to be taken seriously and appropriately treated, through the process of transition.

"medically necessary" and "livesaving" are entirely different from emergency situations. Slow, non-immediate treatments for cancer, for instance, are medically necessary, even if you won't die immediately upon being diagnosed, or treatment for other debilitating issues, such as migraines.

University is basically like kindergarten. Some people are trying to learn something, others are goofing off, there's a slap fight happening, people are sleeping, some are growing new teeth, someone's crying in the hallway, and the person in charge doesn't really know how to handle the situation.

הרצאה ראשונה להיום התחילה באיחור של כמעט חצי שעה, משך עוד חצי שעה, ואז הופסק מוקדם לטקס לזיכרו של רבין. הרצאה השנייה להיום היה מלא בעיות תכניות. סך הכל נראה לי שזה היה אותו זמן למידה כאילו היה הרצאה אחת מסודרת

לא בדיוק הנושא של הציוץ (שזה למה זה לא תגובה), אבל הדודה שלי בחו"ל עוקבת אחרי חדשות בארץ ברמה שלא מעט פעמים היא שומעת על משהו לפני שהמשפחה בארץ שמע. והיא בקושי דוברת עברית! ואני סטודנטית לתקשורת אז עוקבת אחרי המדיה בארץ כמה שיותר! 😅
