Via the Lib Dems: The Liberal Democrats have "led the fight in Parliament" and defeated Farage’s Ten Minute Rule Bill on withdrawing the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights.

The Labour frontbench abstained from the vote, though backbenchers opposed the bill.

The establishment has no difficulty understanding the legitimate concerns of fascists, but somehow finds a relatively moderate democratic socialist incomprehensible. CC doesn't stand for anything that hasn't been common political currency since socialist parties first organised 150 year ago.

There's an old guy sits opposite our local Spar in Lanzarote drinking cans of Spar own bramd lager all day, every day.

I often wonder how his life ended up like that.
