Happy New Year, Bluesky! 🎉

Decided to do a brief and official intro of myself, so here goes (fiddles fingers nervously):

Hi! I’m Chioma Ubiji—a Christian, content writer, and strategist passionate about helping SaaS and e-commerce brands grow with audience-focused, conversion-driven content.
Educating your audience about your product/service changes how they see your brand.

No matter how much you want to focus on persuasion, remember education is still key.

Because when people finally get it, they start convincing themselves that you are what they need.
Lately, I’ve noticed something about education: it changes how people see the world.

Once you understand something, your mindset shifts. You start to see possibilities where there used to be doubt.

That’s exactly how marketing works too.
The first stage isn’t persuasion. It’s education.

If you’re rarely surprised, you’re rarely learning.

Not something to be proud of.

Find more people or writers who make you say “Ohh…. Hmmm” more often.

If you have lots of experience, but no reflection, no analysis, no honest attempt at separating the meager signal from all the noise, not writing anything down, not changing your mind…

…then it’s experience, but not wisdom.
Started trying to post on Bluesky. Missed some days, got some days. Plus, dropped a Substack publication.
Well, it is. I understand that immigration laws in the US are currently very tight. So becoming one, even with everything going on is an achievement.

So congratulations Francesco🥂🥂
Just a quick update in my career transitioning journey:

📌Quit my old job where I was doing private law practice
📌Got a new one working for the government. Surprisingly, it has better pay and a better work environment.

I feel like I am going to have a very interesting career.
Hi Nika.

That's amazing. Remember, your best is enough. Just keep putting in your best. And about the health issues, I am so sorry. Thank God you are better.

My life is going well. Went for a training and got a new job with a better pay and work environment. Really grateful for everything.
This season I've been away, a lot has happened. Thankfully, most of it has been good.

🩵I served my country
🩵Finances improved
🩵Sharpened my skill
🩵Got closer to God and became more bold with the Gospel
🩵Got more productive

All in all, September to October has been a blessing I am grateful for.
Same Nika, same🩵🤭.

How have you been?
How do you make a comeback when you've been away for more than a month?

Start being mildly consistent I guess😅😅

There is, in fact, not enough time for all your ambitions.

In life, you can tackle two Big Things at a time, but not three.

It's a hard truth about how we divide our 24-hour day.
You can have two Big Things, but not three
No you can’t “have it all.” You can have two things, but not three.

It's a lot more quieter...

Appreciating this place more by the day.

It's not perfect, but comparatively... sheesh.
A place where I can serve him, grow and be who he wants me to be.

Ngl, I am quite scared, but I trust God and His plans.

Now, my plan is to focus on my marketing career and see where else God is taking me.

To new, scary but hopeful beginnings.
Today was my last day at the law firm where I work....

No, I am not sad (how would I be when I voluntarily resigned and pushed in someone else as a replacement😂😂).

I instead feel very much at peace and hopeful. I don't know where God is taking me, but I know it's a good place.
So we are all in a constant process of learning till the end?? And basically, we are winging it😅??

Well, I guess I should be more open to learning and be kinder to myself when I make mistakes.
I might not be a pro, but I know what I am doing. I've had the privilege of figuring things out on my own and learning from others. That something you cant take away from me.

To experience that we don't immediately value and recognize 🥂🩵
Spent last week writing an article for a familiar audience: freelance writers like me.

It was such a great article to write. I used to underestimate my knowledge about freelancing writing, until I wrote this article. Then I realized that 4+ years as a freelance writer is no joke.
Thank you so much Ahlem🥹🩵. Waiting for this process to be over.
Exactly Olu. I know how much time I've saved by adapting to AI in both marketing and law. Makes me more efficient.
Not usually what I would post on a Friday, because I am a big supporter of TGIF, but I needed to post this.
I just realized that the reason why it feels like my 20s are a lot of work is because I'm building for the decades to come.

In the growth stage, or what some people call the "morning season", we have to work really hard. This is not unusual if you come from humble means.
It is for your future. It is for the coming decades.

Regardless, I still hope we get to enjoy some good rewards now, not just in our old age alone.

Keep this in mind while you have a good weekend🩵.
Remember, even (serious) rich kids work hard. I mean, how else will they sustain the money they've inherited?

So be an advocate for work now, so you can become an advocate for enjoyment later.

So while the reward for your labour might not seem like much now.....
