2006. When I was 13, 14, or 15, the IT guy at my dad's clinic gave me three of these Dell Optiplex machines (likely model GX100 SFF). I used them for home theater PCs, routers, and servers for the better part of a decade.

If you have the chance, give an aspiring IT kid a stack of old computers.
