🇨🇦 once a great friend of the 🇺🇸Always there when a helping hand was needed. We hid them and then smuggled them out of Iran, then stayed back at great risk, 911,again took them into our homes in Newfoundland and then fought and died in Afghanistan

For the young out there: I grew up as a kid in this 1950s system (which was also an outcropping of Rosie the Riveter, after a fight to get women back in the home so men could take their jobs), and women shrivelled. THEY HATED IT. It was stifling, reductive, unfair, cruel.
