Idk guys trickle down economics won't work unless something actually trickles down. Billionaires didn't get that way because of their ethical standards. Just sayin'z
"The money will trickle down"

Why don't you tax any money over a certain dollar amount back into the economy to force it to trickle down?

"No"

Turning 37 this Friday. What are y’all getting me?
The only people Jesus explicitly excluded from entering Heaven were the rich, yet I never hear y'all religious types telling rich people they're going to Hell, trying to take away their rights, etc.

Weird.

There are the "feed 100 in case 1 of them would otherwise starve" people.

And there are the "Starve 100 in case 1 of them doesn't actually deserve their food" people.

Far too many who claim to follow Jesus fall into the second camp.
Only 8 here. Someone thinks I'm "trash", and if it's for the reason I think it is, I wouldn't want this person's approval anyway. Apparently I also engage in "drama", politically speaking, which... fair.

Most are good though.
Edgelords are bullshit because how you gonna call yourself that and do literally zero edging
The movie is Black Phone 2. Like are y'all even in the right theater?
A full family shows up late for the movie and is loudly talking about concessions and stuff like dude wtf
I have actually UN-blocked a lot of people over the past year. I leave an opening for forgiveness should someone decide they're willing to do the work for it. But for some, that path is closed forever.

Choose to be a kind and decent person, or never speak to me again. It's that simple.
I only block people I know if I truly feel I do not wish to keep you in my life anymore. This requires an irredeemable level of moral reprehensibility on your part.

If I block you, I believe you to be a truly evil, inhumane person. I block you to protect my peace.
Vote AND. Protest AND. Turning it into "or" is a bad strategy. It's absurd not to be using every tool in our box right now just because some of them alone won't be enough.
The "that won't work" mindset has got to go. Small victories are still victories. Our goal is to get as many as possible and build up to bigger and bigger victories.
People really saying "the protests did nothing".

That "dumping shit" AI video temper tantrum wouldn't have happened if we didn't strike a nerve. Like voting, a protest isn't everything but it's also not nothing.
I'm happy to see more mainstream calls for General Strike, hope to see it happen (or at least get it close enough to get our demands for a fair and equitable society met).

But this ONLY works if we have each other's backs. We're no longer "rugged individuals". We are ONE. That's the only way.
Second trip to New York completed, and that just solidified how much I friggin LOVE that city. I want to go back already.

Hey at what point were you going to reveal that the woman who the story is based on is the Chief Marketing Office at a VC firm that is invested in a bunch of AI firms??????

Clarifying that I'm not responding to the "don't ONLY protest" takes. That is correct, you should definitely look into other things you can do, mutual aid, etc.

This is for people crossing their arms shaking their heads like "this didn't do anything". STFU please.
"Protesting doesn't do anything" I'm gonna need you to go ahead and fuck AALLLLLLLL THE WAY off. All solutions are on the table rn, and I will not be hearing criticisms from people who say "this won't work" and "that won't work" but won't provide us with any realistic solutions of their own.
"AI is here to stay so we should get used to it" honestly wild how a thing we are wholeheartedly rejecting on a mass scale is "here to stay". Makes me wonder who's paying you to say that.

That's not just a hot take that should be a universal take
My hottest take is there shouldn’t be anti homeless architecture.

Even in a Pokémon game.
