We have a weekend for them to spin it. For them to let it get lost in Bad Bunny and the Super Bowl. It will lose significance over the weekend. People won’t know about it or brush it off. I will go into work Monday and hear someone say the halftime show was for “ them”, like I heard last year.
i get the cynicism that outrage over Trump's racist post will change minds but the breadth of the GOP criticism is significant -- Collins, Curtis, Wicker, and Scott (among others) are out with statements unequivocally denouncing it. It's a step in the right direction from "I haven't see the tweet."

I just want people to know that there is no active insurrection, no regular protests, no rioting or whatever. The only time people are in the streets is when masked armed ICE thugs descend on one of our neighbors to disappear them as part of a federal government-led ethnic cleansing campaign.
