A wise old owl lived in an oak, The more he saw the less he spoke,
The less he spoke, the more he heard,
Why aren't we all like that wise old bird?

As a leader, changing your mind based on new data is accepted, but as a politician, you will be called a 'flip-flopper.' In this article, I try to investigate why this is the case. open.substack.com/pub/silot/p/... #leadership #politicians #decisions #opinions

With AI coding tools I switched from writing code to doing code reviews. The irony #ai #coding #tools

If you provide AI coding tools only functional instructions the code quality is not great. But if you also provide non functional, architecture characteristics, design patterns etc the quality is actually pretty good and the code maintainable. #ai #coding #tools

I am taking a new approach with AI code tools. Instead of me reviewing the code they generate, I ask the tools to review the code I write. This way there were many better solutions suggested than what I had in mind and I also learned something new. #ai #code #tools

Really impressed by how much Amazon Q Developer has improved especially the cli version. If you know what you what and what you’re doing it can really speed up development. I wouldn’t recommend it to non technical people though #amazon #q #developer

How real folks outside our tech bubble use the web:

😮 Some have connection speeds as low as 20 Mbps
😮 Most use the same modem for 5-10 years
😮 Avg person replaces their computer every 5.6 years
😮 11% use browser versions that are up to 5 years old
