That's not going to work in the real world. That's not how birds work.
1: Only some bird species eat seeds.
2: To attract large numbers of seed-eaters to ensure large amounts of droppings, you'd have to regularly place seeds on the car. ie you'd have to train/habitualize the birds to the car.

Expecting drivers to 'proceed with caution' is like peeing into a gale. You're going to get piss on your face.

& even if no pedestrians are injured, it will only be Bcoz pedestrians actively manage to avoid being injured by drivers. It WILL increase the stress put on pedestrians.

the frequency of checks, the man-power & resources given over to such checks. I simply didn't believe there would be any meaningful resources put into any such scheme.

As you say we need more safe cycle infra, but there's a now constant problem with these illegal deregulated scooters, deregulated pedelacs, illegal e-bikes & illegal e-motorbikes in the little amount of cycle-infra that we do have. I'm sick to the teeth with them.

Drivers do far far far more harm to society than people on bikes and yet you want to deny all cyclists the safety of proper cycle-infra Bcoz some break the rules. Mostly car-centric rules, I might add.

Your original post was that people on bikes should only get safe cycle infra once they start obeying the rules. This is an utterly nonsensical idea. Even excluding all the red-light running, pnone use, speeding, etc etc, drivers kill & maim every single day. Should we ban all private cars now?
