I finally got my 2025 eligibility post up! In terms of publishing it was a pretty good year.

In terms of life? Meh.

As Nebula nominations are opening up, I would like to offer my novelette, "Phantom View," which is free-to-read at Reactor! It's a story of disabilities and the supernatural that I've always wanted to write.
"Phantom View" is a novelette about disabled caretakers, disabled parents, and ghostliness itself being a disability. It's one of my most personal stories.

You can read it for free at @reactorsff.bsky.social!
Phantom View - Reactor
A disabled son care-taking for a disabled father tries to understand the mysterious blur haunting them.

Self-promotion doesn't always get easier in publishing. This nominations season--for the Nebulas, or any other award--PLEASE take pride in your work. Voters will ask about eligible works for their consideration, and we hope every SFF writer feels empowered to answer the call. Invest in your success!
Awards nominations are starting and I have things that are eligible but no pretty post (yet) cause I’m kind of overwhelmed and the imposter syndrome is impostering despite the fact that these pieces were literally already chosen for publication and wow aren’t brains the best!?
