70% funded and we’re only halfway through the first week of the month-long campaign! Can we make it the last 30% before next week? I hope so!

Pledging support will get you cool books and custom art from yours truly! Spreading the word is also a huge help!

Look animation is the bane of modern financialization. Its slow, expensive, and requires specialized knowledge. Its also always popular. They can’t help but try to destroy it along the way. But it never dies.

Here's an opportunity to support the other journalist arrested today; Georgia Fort, who will have far fewer resources available to her than Don Lemon.
Georgia Fort's is chilling, and it's being overshadowed by the equally chilling arrest of Don Lemon.

A GoFundMe is being set up for Fort. In the meantime, you can support her work directly – without paying massive fundraising platform fees – through her website:

Every piece of news seems specifically designed to make me put my fist through a screen so I’d say I’m doing pretty well considering.

Do as many comics that are just for you as you can while you can. Self indulge. Make yourself laugh. Develop efficient habits and shortcuts to make the process easier on yourself. Make short stories. Shorter. No, shorter.
What advice would you give an aspiring comic creator? - 🦝

Trump's fascist goon squad: [Murder in the streets]

This guy: "How will voters know this is bad?"
Seriously, folks, people did NOT vote for murder on the streets. A majority of those who voted went for Trump, and to win power, those against Trump will have to win many of them over, not reject them all as people who want fascism.

People get their news via social media these days. Newspapers always have a comics section, because if there's not something good to look forward to, people stop showing up to learn about the bad. So post your art &don't feel bad about it. We're the cheese wrapped around these hard to swallow pills.

Pretti clearly did not brandish his gun. Which means the government is saying he was killed for legally exercising his right to carry.

It’s as clear-cut a violation of the Second Amendment as I can possibly imagine. And we’re about to see the bulk of the gun rights crowd defend his murder.
