Shit posting programmer and coffee nerd
I had no idea how few people use that golf course, and just how large it is. There are much better things we could do with that space; even just turning it into a regular park would be a much better use than what we have now
Ok I did more math.

Replacing Langara Golf Course with *that* would boost daily use from ~300 to ~4900 visits/day, about 23× more activity than current assuming a mid size rec centre and just whitecaps games in the stadium with avg attendance. PLUS house ~22000

But lease away school grounds 👀
After the excitement of the whitecaps win I looked at Langara golf course again. We could put a 25k person stadium, 8 public soccer fields, 1 indoor soccer field, a giant community centre/training facility and about 10k homes.

…or support an average of 300 golfers per day

NOT A PLAN just saying

I got into cooking through my high school's culinary arts program and was working in a higher end restaurant in my town. The maitre d' was the pastry chef at the school and one night told me that I should get out while I can and do something with my brain. I was good with computers so did software

I was really looking forward to Battlefield 6. The beta was a ton of fun.

Glad I didn't pre-order

After finishing act 1 I can confirm that Silksong is great. It kicks my ass and makes me beg for more.

I've bounced off a couple soulslikes, but both Hollow Knights have been excellent.

Maybe I'm just too much of a scrub for the 3rd dimension

Daniel Abraham wrote on here at the beginning of this wave of AI trash “why would I bother to read what nobody bothered to write?” And I think a lot about that whenever I see posts like this.

If this isn't performance art (or misunderstanding the LLM chat as real) and is legitimately something someone did, I do think it's at least a little instructive to me re: the kinds of people that engage with AI.

He's talking about it like he's training and seen by (then betrayed by) a subordinate.

And I guess that's the answer as to who uses this tech. It emulates a power dynamic where you're the person in charge. It's Guitar Hero for middle management. It's incredibly flattering to use. "It saw my vision immediately!" is such a giveaway to that mindset. Affirming your input is what it does!
