Apparently there were documents which were proven to be forgeries in court at one point because Calibri was rolled out in like 2007 or something and the documents were claimed to have been produced years before? I don’t remember the exact details, but Michael Stevens mentions it in a vsauce

Great read on the cumulative trillions of dollars of iterative engineering effort that has gone into developing the efficient, reliable modern gas turbine. It is an insanely complex technology featuring an unforgiving multidimensional tradeoff space

The thing that I find crazy about people who are bigots in person is that it *costs more* to do that. Like it takes more energy to initiate that awkward confrontation than to just not use a slur or misgender someone.

Also “almost no negative energy requirement” and “no negative energy” are wildly different things. Like saying it uses almost no unicorn farts for fuel.

Saw one of these on the road earlier today and I was struck that this is probably the most exciting, fun car Mazda made in the last 20yrs. They knew they were doing something special when they chose that colour.
