seems worth mentioning that Dylan went to one of the top musical theatre schools in the country
So apparently Dylan Mulvaney got cast in a Broadway musical... which resulted in transphobes losing their minds and threatening to "Bud Light" the show... and now the show's Twitter page is locked down. Cool cool.

ICE’s actions tear families apart, intimidate communities, & undermine the conditions that make education, research, healthcare, & public trust possible.

We’re calling on scientists to join the general anti-ICE strike in Minnesota on January 23rd.

fwiw this is the kind of stuff that is going to get us through, not playing rambo
Minneapolis and Saint Paul have basically mobilized into a war economy of mutual aid and non-violent defense. I’ve never seen anything like it, even during Covid. People who barely vote are guarding their schools from ICE and doing the shopping for neighbors in hiding.
This is so smart. I’m so impressed with all the different ways you’re helping your neighbors.

There’s a Direct line between these life saving HIV drugs being cut off and the inadequate public health response to the ongoing COVID pandemic. This is where “you do you” leads.
I audibly gasped at this shortsighted move. We have failed to help the public understand that health isn't an individual issue, that you can't build a wall to keep disease out, and that community health is key to individual well-being. We see this with vaccination and we see it here. 💔
Catastrophe: Florida's Department of Health is stopping coverage for antivirals to 10,000 low-income people with HIV infection, blaming impending federal cuts to the AIDS Drug Assistance Program. 12.5% of Americans with HIV live in Florida.

No one should think they will stop with just trying to make HIV meds expensive

Given the chance, they will try to reverse their FDA approval or outright ban anti-retrovirals

Silence = Death

Act up to get this regime out, fellow gays, your lives may depend on it

This is so heartbreaking.

People with HIV who are on meds aren’t just saving their own lives; they also can’t transmit the virus during sex as long as they’re undetectable. This isn’t just hurting 10,000 people, it’s also going to cause exponentially more new cases.

I am begging people to just imagine for a second talking as if the lives of the people in Greenland are an important part of what is happening in Greenland.
We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.
Footage shows Danish troops arriving in Greenland as part of a new military deployment. Among the personnel who landed on the island is Major General Peter H. Boysen, Chief of the Danish Army Command. #Greenland

Simon Wessely, possibly the most prominent ME controversialiser, has threatened to wield state power against a medical anthropologist if she didn’t present his group’s fabricated controversy as “another side of the debate”. A clear case of trying to induce scientific ignorance by nefarious means
I don't think the PACE trial was robust and don't argue that. I'm so sorry you are reading the book this way. I have several people with ME read the book. Let's connect off line; Wessely read a version of the writing & threatened to sue me if it didn't include the other side. Happy to talk offline.

LOL (laughing to keep from crying). So the cartoon villain who has terrorized sick people for decades threatened to sue if this book didn’t include more of “his side,” but instead of investigating a clear pattern of intimidation to maintain a chokehold on scientific progress, we get…more chokehold

Brianna Ghey was targeted by classmates who knew her offline. Online, she made friends and a community, and was making content to help other trans kids like her.

This is a grieving mother pushing for legislation that would have further isolated her trans child, that is supported by transphobes.

My elderly white mother is making plans for what to do if ICE comes knocking because her late husband's late father came from Mexico in the 1940s, and as such, her name is Estrada.
jack asked if i would sketch up a poster to tell people in nearby neighborhoods about the partnership between flock and ring, and this is what i came up with. it can be printed on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.

Despite Trump’s promises, grocery prices are still rising fast. Families can’t afford this… when is he going to get serious about lowering costs?
