What a time to be alive …

Yup but doesn’t mean they want to be in a work environment where people are threatening them. In fact it makes it even more likely they were able to make this demand of the hotel. But I don’t have any personal knowledge of their experiences in Saint Paul right now

Even if you’re documented you don’t want to be threatened

Go to any hotel and tell me if all you see is white American citizens cleaning the rooms and taking care of the grounds.

Why would hotel “staff” feel safe after ICE ate at a Mexican restaurant and after eating rounded up and arrested the people who worked there?

alternative possibility: the staff are terrified to come to work

I wonder if the ice agents were threatening hotel workers with deportation

And you can put a mask on a lot faster than you can install a new ramp. So it’s one step almost anyone can take to make their activities accessible to people who know they don’t have the luxury of risking a mass disabling viral illness. Putting a HEPA air filter in your space is another easy step.

It’s because there are so many disabled people, especially newly disabled people, who need you to mask in order for us to be able to do in person activities. It is our equivalent version of a person who uses a wheelchair not being able to go anywhere because there’s no wheelchair ramp anywhere

I didn’t say we need a law. No one is trying to force anyone to mask. We are pleading with people who say they want a better world to choose to care enough to protect each other. Where did I say requirements or force? But perhaps I misunderstand your reply to me. What is the “this” you refer to?
January 18, 2026 at 4:20 PM
do that is to put together a list of data points ppl can reference on # of ppl w lc, the lack of research money etc then present open ended questions folks can answer about their own experience with the disease. Thank you.

Can you please provide some talking points? A number of people PWLC I shared this with asked for that because they are too sick to write from scratch. Im so glad this bill exists but writing a testimony is a big ask that needs help. I know you don’t want all the stories to be the same so one way to

The people who are most familiar with Gavin Newsom's policies and his *actual* record are the ones saying he's a terrible candidate. People who care very much about winning, whose lives depend on it.

Can I ask why you think people who mask are living in fear?

Are people who use an umbrella in the rain living in fear? Are those who wear a helmet on a motorcycle living in fear? Are rock climbers using a harness living in fear? Or are they protecting themselves from an outcome they want to avoid?

Yes!! I did a pencil sketch of her a while ago I haven’t posted.

And she made a Mike Nesmith song a hit while the monkees tv show was still turning down a lot of his best writing. Also was apparently hanging out with the FBB around burrito delux

Wearing masks where people share air is key. So many people who used to protest can’t anymore due to long covid. We need to stop spreading covid and making each other sicker. Respirator masks work and work best when we all mask up.
