I miss it! I most miss the era of actual nonstop music videos before the era of TV series took over. Ren & Stimpy was cool and all but I wanted to watch music videos all day, any time of the day. That A-HA comic book video will be on my deathbed highlight reel for sure

I’ve had it with the gaslighting.

For years, those of us who chose to homeschool during the pandemic were labeled paranoid. Overprotective. Helicopter parents overreacting to what everyone insisted was “a cold” for kids.

Now the studies have come in. And guess what? We were right all along.

The data is brutal and vindicating. Children who catch COVID more than once face double the risk of long COVID. Their chance of myocarditis jumps 3.6 times higher than kids with just one infection. They’re developing kidney damage, brain issues, and symptoms in practically every organ system researchers have bothered to check.

Long Covid is more prevalent in children in the US now than asthma. We are fucking destroying the next generations w/our behavior. (And adults.)

If you do care about resisting eugenics maybe start by not being the vector that disables a kid in RFK’s US. That is not too much to ask. It really isn’t.

I have, however, given up caring if my continuing to talk about COVID makes people feel bad.

My mother died of COVID complications this year. And one thing everyone told me was "I didn't realize COVID was still around/could do this" and it still makes me angry enough to spit teeth.
