Louisiana v. Callais threatens to gut the Voting Rights Act, the very law that was created to stop states from silencing Black voters. If the Court rules against fair maps, politicians will have even more power to draw districts that dilute Black communities’ voices. #BlackVotersMatter

The petty, wannabe dictator is trying to become a king large act the expense of Black communities, particularly regarding the attack on voting rights and mid decade redistricting. So when we say #NoKings, we must explicitly include these issues.
Dr. King taught us: “Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic.” As we say #NoKings, we remember that real Black Liberation demands both, not just love for our people, but the organized power to change systems that keep us from freedom.
