Sigh. Depressing that people in 2026 spread FUD about this but NO, you can't have your charging cable stolen or pulled out when you charge your EV. FFS do you really think nobody thought about this stuff?

The USA is going to end up where companies dump all their Hybrid cars that nobody else wants, as the civilised world moves fully to EVs.
There will still be angry rants about range anxiety in the US, but it will be about as relevant as the Amish people's opinions on smart phones.

Just found an app that lets you stream from a laptop to a mobile phone, and thats a cool thing you can apparently do these days.

I'm staying in a house on a beach in Suffolk and... by random chance this is visible from the Kitchen! I *think* its one of those big ships they use to install offshore wind turbines? Kinda cool. Visibility not good enough to see if there are installed ones behind it, but I think so.

When I was a kid, buying a 'single' was about £1. So if you now only get £0.003 per stream as an artist then... holy crap. No way did I play any of those singles 300 times. And that is in 1970s prices. Musicians are being ripped off big time. Glad I gave up TBH. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Modern AI LLMs are absolute jaw droppingly amazing. I am so fucking sick of people who have NEVER FUCKING USED THEM pontificating so loudly that 'its all intellisense'.

Reading discussions in the US discussing which EVs to buy is just sad. They simply are not allowed (because freedom!!!) to buy Chinese built EVs, so its like a really weird discussion that omits 90% of the best options.
And without Chinese competition, the local ones wont get better either.

I've been fiddling with fleet deployment UI a bit. I am unsure the best way to handle range overlays. Ideally you have defined 'roles' for each ship, and not a mish-mash of weapon ranges, but you can do anything you want. The game now characterises such ships as 'Mixed Range', but thats not enough.
