Three ICC judges have been put on a sanctions list with terrorists after approving an arrest warrant for Israel’s prime minister. This is the charade of the ‘rules-based order’, says Guardian columnist Owen Jones

The Israeli military’s genocide isn’t over, it’s expanding.

The Israeli government has violated the truce nearly 500 times in 44 days, killing over 342 Palestinians in Gaza, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office, including 28 Palestinians in the past three days.

Israeli group B’Tselem notes that, since a supposed “ceasefire” in Gaza, Israel has:

* killed 345 Palestinians,

* denied food to 70% of the population who need it,

* demolished a further 1,500 buildings.

All of this is in blatant violation of the agreement.

This is not progress. It is a full-blown retreat.

A real feminist foreign policy demands concrete action on gender equality and a clear defence of the human rights of all people. Instead, Carney, just like Harper before him, has walked away from the world’s most vulnerable.

Ukraine’s governance crisis has a name: the dependency trap.

Our latest analysis looks at why Zelenskyy keeps Andriy Yermak and Oleh Tatarov in power even as corruption scandals intensify. The Mindich tapes, the July crackdown, and EU pressure all point to a system struggling to reform itself.
Zelenskyy’s irreplaceables: too corrupt to keep, too entrenched to remove
Everyone wants Yermak and Tatarov to go. But would removing them collapse Zelenskyy’s ability to govern?

CBC reports that Hoekstra hints F-35 deal could effect #Canada -US trade deal.
Purchasing F-35s jets is a major national security threat for Canada.
Period.
Wouldn't the national security concern be the most important issue for Canada regarding F35 jets multi-billion $ purchase?
You can't allow the regime who threatens CA directly control software and hardware of jets. Not mentioning Saab jets would be just 1/6 cost of F35s and create thousands of jobs

Absolutely, and I agree with the pundits on CBC: if Canada folds on this threat, what's to say there won't be another one? And another.

At some point, we have to see to our own security. And right now, the US is a threat, not a friend.

The F-35 deal is a XXIst century Trojan Horse.
