Today I published a new section of my website with resources for those who wish to learn, study, and/or teach ancient languages using braille. It rests on work we did over the past year to expand screen reader access to these languages through the LibLouis library. Check it out and share around!

A thing I love to do with planetary days/nights is connect them to my natal chart

Sun-Mercury conjunction? Wednesdays are great for exploring those themes and chilling with the gods

Astrologers, if you're...

💢 Frustrated with your social media efforts but unsure how else to promote your work

💢 Constantly scrambling to fill your books with enough clients to earn a living

💢 Struggling to keep up with social media algorithm changes

then it might be time to try a new strategy.

My friend wrote an Element! and a *really* cool one: it's a guide to the Arabic and Persian sources on Rūs death rituals, including new translations of them*.

It's still free to download until 2nd October 2025 so get it now (and try not to forget about it...)

Here's a really good site for hosting academic papers without ads, without spamming your and your colleagues' inboxes, and without signing away all manner of rights.

Zenodo is operated by a European institution (CERN) and, best of all, is named after an ancient Homer scholar.

If you feel like you can't win with content on social media, learn a different way to think of it in my new course

I take you behind the scenes and show you how I've built up Cobra + Crescent (and myself as an astrologer!) off of social media

The way my playlist goes from Feuer Frei to 7 Days—without a break in dancing—is probably an astrological case study

The Victoria & Albert museum holds many treasures, one of which is this late antique pair of shoes from Roman Egypt (400-600 CE). 10/10 would wear today (photo is my own).

One of my small joys is seeing birds enjoy the water I leave out for them

I'm always like 🥰🥰🥰

I guess it's like...seeing my offering to them has been accepted and I'm playing a small role in their thriving

It's gratifying 😌

I think one of the falsities of the colonial project is the belief that all of our philosophy comes from the Greeks.

People are not okay and today that hit way, way too close to home

I'm safe but others were not and it's exhausting to think how this shit will get worse as people get more desperate or more unbalanced

Time to jump into Mass Effect: Andromeda

This game does not make me cry anywhere near as much as ME3 so it's not as cathartic...but let's see how the Reyes romance hits me this time 😅

So I went with the red/Destroy ending again...but for different reasons

Previously it was "fuck the Reapers (and the Illusive Man)"/external reasons

This time it was, "I want even the slimmest chance to get back to Garrus. It's my turn to get something back for all I've given"/internal reasons
I have played about 400 hours of ME3 alone over the last 12 years

I have never romanced anyone except Garrus

And I still, from the first play to just now, ugly cry until I can't breathe when Shepard says goodbye to him the last time 😭😭😭

May I be loved the way Garrus loves Shepard 🥹
