Claude/Claude Code is some of the most impressive technology of my life. It has issues but the speed it works at and quality when paired with a good dev is amazing.

As a young man I didn’t understand gambling bans and thought everyone was smart enough to manage themselves however now I have done a full 180 and believe it should be banned or at least difficult to access for most cases.

I don't like buying things on the App Store because I feel like it never works well for new versions of tools or support from app builders.

Watching two white belts compete at Grappling Industries
Whatever it is, it’s not high quality, but it’s entertaining.

It's just killing me working on this BitBucket project putting up 4-6 PRs per day and knowing that none of it will impact my GitHub contribution graph.

When are they renaming New Mexico to New America? New Texas?

You know what you never see in Chinese robotic videos? People punching, kicking and abusing the machines.

Unironically one of the benefits of having kids is getting up much earlier than I otherwise would.

I keep trying to migrate from Spotify to Apple Music but even things like app quality on low bandwidth networks makes such a big difference to the experience. Apple Music feels like it is making server requests for every page where Spotify just works.

Bluesky needs to let me mute accounts straight from their post and not require going to their profile.

It really does seem all the good tech accounts are here. X is still fun for me but it’s 80% yappers that never build.

I don't know what to do with the Dino I made for the Deno 2.0 release so here he is. Hope you enjoy!

It is my pleasure to inform you the butter chicken pie has been successfully baked.

Going from Shopify's admin app development tooling to their Account UI Extension tooling is so jarring. Hoping it improves soon.

I normally play acoustic but looking at a jazzmaster + fender mustang micro for home practice. Is the mustang micro a good purchase whether with a BFCM discount or not? I worry about the longevity and potentially being obsoleted in a few years.

It's a shame to see so many small markets ruined by Temu/AliExpress junk.

I found the umbrella from umbrella corp. Always cool to see celebrities doing normal things.

I am so sick and tired of agencies building in their crappy packages to projects then not supporting the package into the future. If you are building your own things, fine, use them but at least respect your customers enough to support them for the long term.

Does Bluesky have the same neovim gang as the other site?

Back journaling my thoughts on how agencies can get good alpha on hiring developers from junior to senior.

Bluesky is starting to show me more of what I want. It took judicious use of the mute button and a lot of "show less" but I am starting to get a good feed.

I have spent too much time playing games lately so have deleted battle net and Steam from my laptop. Next is network blocking Chess dot com and Lichess. Too much to do, not enough time.

BlueSky would be a lot cooler if I stopped getting NSFW art on my feed.

I really appreciate Shopify's focus on app developers, documentation and tooling. Using Remix to build apps via the CLI is such a win and feels like a Rails-level epiphany for me.

I really just need a game like Civ 6 but it's just walking around the map and discovering things.
