Yes, I've had this recipe style. They didn't show a picture, just talked about it, and I got the impression it was similar to Greek saganaki (frying cheese) where the bulk of it would be a slice of the cheese, crisped up, or grated Parmesan crisps, but with some other type.of cheese. Ex:
