Music of a grim, Cold War Britain (2010-2025). Aside from the odd project, Concretism is now mothballed. I'm doing other things elsewhere. You can still buy my old stuff on Bandcamp: https://concretism.bandcamp.com/

I'm hoping in the Threads reboot they give the old lady who silently mouths along to Words and Pictures a bigger part.
AI is the 3D TV of the 2020s.
K11 Micra vibes! Sort of. At least to me...
'Nictu, oovavoo, eranu!' Or something.
It's crazy. And John Noakes isn't even slightly phased, just a little out of puff. It's like he has no fear. Bonkers.
I can't quite believe it's just a bunch of normal ladders tied together, and no safety gear at all. I wouldn't even make it to the first platform. And the boatswain's chair bit is the cherry on top. My god no.

Friends,

I'm playing at the Switched On electronic music weekender in Whitby in November.

It's set to be a great weekend with some wonderful acts playing.

You can find tickets for the event here:

Hope to see some of you there.

Also, I think we care about the characters in WTWB, whereas in Threads they're not really fleshed out and are a bit one dimensional.
I've waffled on about this for years, but I can happily watch Threads, it doesn't bother me. But I only ever saw When the Wind Blows once, and never want to see it again. It terrified me as a kid.
When the Wind Blows, of course.
What horror movie, besides Bambi, really messed you up as a child?

Can confirm, this is a great album. If you like melodic, thoughtfully-produced electronic music, this is for you.
My next full-length LP 'Solar Drift' will be release by Touched Music on 7th November. The album will be available on Vinyl, CD, and digital formats - 6 original tracks + 2 guest remixes (and 2 bonus remixes on CD and digital versions) - available initially via the label's Bandcamp.

More to follow.
I hope she raided the fridge and ate someone's cheese.

I like it when they use the phrase 'bad actor', because I always think 'what, Clive Owen?'
When I first worked with him I was a bit starstruck, but he gracefully put up with my Aliens geekdom...
Have you ever worked with (London-based) William Hope? Lovely chap!
Does that mean you'll see less football, or more?

Yep, same here. Even the 'back to school' signs in shop windows still make me anxious.
