For the record - and if I'm wrong, I'll say so - I think if they had anything on President Clinton it would've been out long ago. Clinton likes rich people too much. That's what it is.

The contrast between ordinary citizens courageously confronting Trumpist bullying, and billionaires and CEOs obsequiously bending the knee– this spectacle in its clear simplicity provides a lesson we should not forget.

Cupich is hated by the American right, Francis's old enemies. Hicks is Cupich's man. Installing Hicks now is not only a statement of intent but strength.
As much as the Church does not like to acknowledge the political nature of its internal maneuverings, sir, Pope Leo left no doubt about his intent here, did he lol

I watched Dolan introducing Hicks. Dolan was Dolan. He is good at that stuff. But he said nothing specific, only that Hicks is "immensely qualified." Hicks looked somewhat overwhelmed, but his first statement was that he grew up 14 blocks from the Pope's childhood home. All that needs to be said.

Honestly, it’s the perfect role for a VP. They’re usually the more partisan one and they usually need something to do.

Imagine the joy of Tim Walz in a hard hat, behind the wheel of a wrecking ball
There's a series of things (like the ballroom, Gulf of America) that we're going to have to *undo* the moment this guy is out of office.
And yet I can already hear future Democrat presidents saying "I'm focused on the people's work, not the knucklehead stuff" and just leave this man's shit up.
The president's name was added to the sign outside the performing arts center.

Whipple: Wiles thought she was talking to someone who would give her a fair shake. And I did give her a fair shake. But the problem is, when you’re in that bubble, you wouldn’t recognize fair treatment when you see it—because crazy is crazy when you’re in that bubble.

Trump Escalates From "Fake News" to "Fake Reality" #ABlueView🧵1/2

The "Fake News" delusion, being limited to news, can no longer protect the increasingly fragile Trump, so he's had to psychotically escalate to an all encomposing, "Fake Reality."

So the "most transparent president in history" won't let Jack Smith's testimony become public. He's got them holding back tens of thousands of Epstein documents, haven't seen his taxes, his school records, and no one knows why the East Wing was destroyed before he even had ballroom plans. Yeah.
