I think a lot of experienced GMs will see guidance designed for inexperienced GMs and think the designer is setting weird boundaries for no reason.

If you're willing to be a bit of a game designer, you can do anything. But you have to remember that some players need that handhold.

Someone could tell the AI more specific things to break it out of that convention I suppose. But:
- its always going to treat that as the default
- It is always going to be infinitely better at producing that default because it pre-exists the attempt at change

One thing thats really frustrating about Ai is that its this excuse to just repurpose the past without evolving it.

Look at niche design communities for solutions.

To keep each draft fresh in Mugen Taikai, we took a lot of inspiration from "Modular Cubes" in #MtG. The ways people had already been balancing synergistic and generic effects saved us a lot of work.
