I'm an accessibility engineer with a bad automation habit. Reading a baker's dozen books. I'll start blogging again at continuumdesign.net someday.

Opinions? They’re mine. Not yours, not theirs, not my employer’s. So there their they’re.

Having "Offer every visitor a personalized browsing journey while adhering to WCAG guidelines" on your site when there are 32 detectable errors via automation and an additional 30 errors found after manual testing is comedic. Issues that the widget can't fix, mind you.

I never thought a lesson I learned about boxing would be so damn useful learning to play bass guitar:

You’re not magically going to get better by practicing extra hard today. You have to e to practice, get good sleep, and come back tomorrow. THAT is where you get better. ❤️‍🩹

That’s rich coming from the architect. McConnell is just as responsible as Trump. He thought he could still control Trump and the senators, but he got older and Trump got bolder.

Anyone pushing the WCAG 3.0 as the new standard doesn't know what they are talking about. Full stop.

WCAG 2.2 is the W3C recommendation as of December 12th, 2024.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.
