The busiest travel day of the year, as Amtrak Midwest trains and intercity buses sell out en masse, is a great time to read @detroittransit.org's report on the state of cross-state transit in Michigan 🚆

As one does during the dreary part of winter I've been scrolling around the map this evening and man, SW Michigan / NE Indiana really does have some incredible bike infrastructure. When the Monon branch of the South Shore opens up I might have some exploring to do across state lines
