My humble request would be that all those U.S. journalists who spent the last week credulously reporting on Trump's "success" in the Middle East simply because he gave a grotesquely premature victory lap unanchored by any actual accomplishment retire permanently from the practice of journalism today

Yesterday, millions marched against fascism. Now our elected leaders need to take action to confront Trump’s assault on Democratic cities and states.
