Itโs always the communication part that gets to me!! Iโm more than willing to wait an inane amount of time for a commission if thereโs an open channel of communication. If I have to hunt you down just for a sketch I donโt even want to give you my business anymore

I had to message them daily for like two weeks and never got an update. They ended up going โah we just had everything in the art room destroyed Iโll just refundโ like dude just say you never got around to my commission ๐ญ๐ญ

I once commissioned a plush from someone and when I asked for an update half a year later they straight up told me they didnโt even know I commissioned them. And then I asked for another follow up months later and was hit with โyeah Iโll send an update tonight!!โ

The way this has happened to me multiple times. What the hell. I think out of the commissions Iโve gotten in my life only 4 or 5 of them went well without the artist just disappearing on me.

If youโre late on a commission with no communication and then go โIโll add free art to make up for it!โ when asked for an update and then never deliver the free art and only send the final commission as a screenshot you go to hell forever.
