A lot of people are asking what they can do. Here’s something, old school style. Start reproducing these pictures, either black and white photocopies, or screen printed, by the 100s and 1000s. Give them catchy headings and captions, meme-style, and stick them up EVERYWHERE.

That reminded me of a time, (many, many suns ago!) at college when my roommate and I had an argument. In the heat of it, I called her a stupid cow. Her immediate and furious response was ‘I am not stupid!’ We just both started laughing. End of stupid argument. 🤣🤣

Nobody said anything about a Jew. This is about the leader of a country currently engaged in genocide and who has been declared a war criminal. And plenty of people were outraged about Putin’s visit as well, and that he got a red carpet instead of handcuffs. How on earth did you miss that outrage?

I’ve never heard Donald Trump express gratitude. If anybody has reason to be grateful for what their country gave them, it’s him. And if anybody is oozing contempt for the USA, it’s him.

It’s like people learned nothing from the first Trump presidency. He’ll punch wildly in many directions, constantly. It’s distracting, but it is not a distraction. It’s also tiring. But each punch is intended to strike and hurt somewhere. NONE of it is a ‘distraction’, it’s all on purpose.

I also don’t understand how this is not the only thing on every newspaper, news broadcast, radio show, etc. Every day, day after day. With pictures, interviews, and a panel of experts in every field discussing how this is, in fact, an autocratic strongman destroying the democratic republic.

One comes across as an informed leader, a statesman with a grasp on the issues truly plaguing our world, and an intellectual giant. The other is an uninformed, petulant, doddering fool, who has never read a book, and is proudly and willfully ever unprepared and lacking any intellectual capacity.

I just listened to the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Amor Mottley, address the UN, and when you compare the speech of the president of the most powerful and influential country in the world to that of the PM of a tiny island nation with 100th of population, your head wants to break.

1. It’s a podcast about sport.
2. For you it’s a stupid game, for fans, who’d been dreaming of being able to attend a live World Cup game in their hometown, it IS an issue.
3. Corporate greed making things, housing, food, healthcare, a soccer game, unaffordable to ordinary people is a campaign issue
