Designers & Dragons ORIGINS are new books. These are not the classic Designers & Dragons books, which detail the histories of about 100 companies in the industry. These are the histories of 200-300 D&D supplements that TSR published mostly in the 70s & 80s.

And even just the difficulty in contending with how frequently conversation gets derailed into silly jokes and out of character suggestions and commentary in a group of 3+ players. Obviously it's part of the fun but there are so many times I've lost track of major plot points because of it haha

I doodle out cards for characters and notable items with info on the back! I like dming mysteries and everyone's forgetful, so this makes it clearer where everything is and who's around, and it just makes the experience a bit more immersive (also ideally some thematic snacks!)
