I already decided 2026 would be another year dedicated to anime/manga like 2023 was for me... See #PunkDoesAnime2024 and #cpDoesAnime2025 as I've been keeping up a bit, but really want to dive in again next year with some icons. Using this scratch off poster as a loose guide.

Picked up some new manga series to try out with Barnes and Noble manga sale (ends today).

Moon Princess is by the mangaka that does Spy x Family and looked rad. The rest were blind buys based on their back synopsis and art.
First volumes for manga series, Dead Company, Touring After the Apocalypse, Blade of the Moon Princess, Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, and Pandora Seven.

I think neither side is rude. It's not accomodating either though. Intentions are key here and agreeing to go out together unprompted seems friendly and welcoming. Feels more like a misfire on connecting and is just the awkward phase of trying to find a mutual vibe for the group.

yeah... bedroom has my computer in it. Wish I had a better place for it but really doesn't make sense anywhere else. First world problems, I know. Just tired of hating my home and being here.

The changeup comes from wanting to change behaviors. I'm hardly playing games lately and definitely not reading or listening to music the way I want to be. So fresh layout, open spaces, feels more welcoming to relax versus having to be productive when I'm home. Let's see if it works.

I rearrange the furniture usually once or twice a year to try the house out differently. Pulled the sectional out to the living room from the theater, changed the record storage wall, then put the sofa and chair in the theater...And also swapped book/record shelves so now books are in an active area

The fact that people are being fooled on Reels or whatever with fake content these days just demonstrates we're largely incapable of telling the difference already. So really we're just ethically opposed to it's existence, which is unrelated to it's quality.

Slop is popular ATM with AI but it's referencing a previously defined term. Slop has been used to describe man made crap my whole life.

And you keep going back to the idea I'm saying I prefer AI? I'm just saying the defense of AI always makes something worse than human crafted is objectively wrong
