I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.

TNMT is just white noise to me, the Spider-Man set does not fill me with hope for Marvel Universe (although MTGA Omenpaths 2: the Pathening should be a little more coherent since it won't be all spiders), I just don't think Star Trek fits. 3 in-multiverse sets and maybe the Hobbit for me in 2027 ig.

I'm not implacably opposed to UB as a concept, but I'm looking at the calendar for next year, and I just do not care about most of it. In-multiverse stuff, even if I'm not following the story or it's a Return To X set, at least is 1.) new and 2.) related to something I've already shown interest in.

ICE reportedly kidnapped someone this morning a block from my kids’ old school, in Rogers Park in Chicago. There are usually people there selling tamales, tacos, drinks, fruit etc

Ever since his family's food rations stopped arriving at their internment camp in Myanmar in April, the father had watched helplessly as his once-vibrant baby boy weakened, suffering from diarrhea and begging for food.
On May 21, exactly two weeks after Taher's little boy died, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio sat before Congress and declared: "No one has died" because of his government's decision to gut its foreign aid program. Rubio also insisted: "No children are dying on my watch."
That, Taher says, "is a lie."
