I have been traveling and today I present to you...the thing I saw in the Frankfurt airport.

Is it efficient? Undeniably. Does it probably work better than the normal way? Oh certainly. Produce less of a mess? Probably?

But the existence of Condiment Udders gives me a deep, aghast disquiet.

A hotdog and pretzel stand with large hanging bottles of mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise. The bottoms contain squeeze tubes to dispense the condiments.

I have spoken to rooms full of nondisabled people and heard this ripple of tense laughter. I have told my own story of flipping a car on black ice and people straight up told me they would just drive more carefully.

1. Terrifying news for transgender people across the United States. In a late night development, the House Spending Bill was amended to ban transgender coverage for transgender ADULTS on medicaid!

A manager's amendment removed the words "for minors."

There are quite a few things my “boomer” parents got wrong, but I think one thing they got right was respecting/acknowledging my knowledge and opinions when I was in my 20s… just wish that had extended to politics as I grew.

As a Gen X person I really wish my generation was better about listening to “the kids” and not discounting the wisdom and knowledge they possess (hose water didn’t make us wise). It is one of my greatest joys as a dad to learn information AND wisdom from my adult children and their peers.
