This is 404 Media's @jasonkoebler.bsky.social waving at himself through a Flock camera; one of 60 we learned was left exposed to the open internet. Not only could anyone with a link livestream it, but some admin portals were open with no login credentials required.

how much of internet traffic is just computers yelling at each other even though they've been blocked or otherwise cut off years ago?

The FBI put a thousand agents (their own words) on trying to hide all the links between Trump and Epstein. They failed. When people found some additional photos of Trump in the release, the DOJ promptly DELETED THEM FROM THE DOCUMENT RELEASE.

Available to download Friday, some Epstein files no longer there Saturday afternoon
An NPR analysis of the Epstein files shows some documents, originally available on Friday, are no longer on the Department of Justice's "Epstein Library" website as the DOJ releases more files.

If you want an excellent video explainer for why we created @nogamesforgenocide.com, People Make Games just made one for you.

After watching it, think about whether you might want to pledge to boycott Xbox and then sign up if you do.

the good news is that the media attention and support from an audience has helped Horses do well enough that Santa Ragione has been able to pay all its owed royalties and loans. so it's not in debt.

the bad news is it's still not enough to keep the studio together.

Finished the first Nonary Game. I really like the structure of a branched narrative that wants you to play through all branches to get the full story, and man are the folks at @spikechunsoftinc.bsky.social good at that. The way they weave the mechanic into the actual story every time is incredible.

Normally when I start a book series I binge it until I reach the end, but when my Libby hold on the audiobook for The Decagon House Murders pinged while I've been working through The Culture series I decided to jump on it. Glad I did but now I'm craving more mystery.
