Just told my partner I wanted "mashed balls and meat potatoes" for dinner...

I don't think continuing to create and share our work makes artists/writers/musicians/etc. equivalent to Nero fiddling while Rome burned. I think we're more like the band on the titanic, offering what escape and comfort we can while the deck shifts beneath our feet.

I think something kinda funny and cute about there being so much stupid AI art/photos *everywhere* that I am more appreciative of imperfect art - in every sense (food, fibre arts, traditional art) like I want to see visible "flaws" now because it makes it even better.
