I really wasn't exaggerating when I said my Christmas tree pride pins were detailed. Each of these baubles is just over 2mm! canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4405...

Why did I somehow never realize the audio track for this πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
I'm particularly pleased with how the frog photoshoot came out, after standing in my local canal for a couple of hours.

Plus, I got to use the #GayFrogs audio on the video, which was super fun 🐸 canopyrobin.etsy.com/listing/4327...

I love feedback like this πŸ₯°
Iβ€˜ve just unpacked my order and can confirm that the level of detail is mind blowing, not only on the Christmas tree but also on the robin with the very subtle pride colours.

Thank you very much!

Aww, yay! I really like how the subtle robin pride pin came out too. I actually wasn't sure if the subtle trans colours in the shadow of the wing would work but I'm so happy they did!

Happy #NationalTreeWeek from me and the various tree pins, I sell at canopyrobin.etsy.com πŸŒ³πŸŽ„πŸƒ #SciArt
November 24, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Looks like my scything efforts last week paid off to get a few hundred trees planted into our new hedgerow!
This #NationalTreeWeek we're celebrating all the research and practical conservation and restoration work that's done across our group. For example, a massive thankyou to our regular Friends of #GairWood group for their hard work planting a new hedge at our research woodland over the weekend!

Not going to lie, you'll probably see me post these a lot over the next month. It's the first time I've created a design with such a clear time limit to breaking even. Like, who's buying a gay christmas tree pin in January?
And finally, today, one year after launching my first LGBTree pride pin to help fund transition, I'm launching another tree!

This time the trees are decorated for Christmas as part of my winter pin drop!

Everytime I pack one of these up, I'm still so blown away by the detail on the little printed decorations. They came out so well and I'm so proud of them!

Did a short video about these for Insta and Tiktok and it's fair to say the tiktok algorithm did not enjoy them πŸ˜… A few views on insta at least but getting them out there in any major way is hard!
I'm so proud to announce my most ambitious pin to date: a miniature guide to the trees of Britain (and lots of Europe)!

I'm also releasing a whole flock of robins for my seasonal pin drop!

There's one robin that's just regular bird colours but the rest are all pride flags from different aspects of my personal identity 😊🐦

One thing I love about doing all my own photography and modelling for my designs is that, not only do I get pictures of my pins, I also get snapshots of how I've changed over the last year

This is so important! If you're trying to get a message out, you've got to think about whether your audience actually understands what you're on about.

Everything boils down to communication in the end.
completely outside of politics, this is so charming

Only 8 of the 20 pin, sticker, necklace, and patch designs I sell have ever made a profit. I would love to get that up to ten by the end of the year!

Its quite striking to me the similarity with the no more jury judgements thing Labour wants to do how they say β€œcriminals shouldn’t get juriesβ€œ when the reality is that its β€œpeople wouldn’t get juriesβ€œ
Fixed it for you. Idiots! If the exclusion is based on appearance then it will certainly impact cis folks as well as trans folks.

The reason that magnolia flowers are more rigid and less soft compared to other flowers is because magnolia trees belong to one of the earliest lineages of flowering plants, and predate bees. They evolved to be pollinated by beetles, and still are
